Day 1: Overnight Flight to Naples.? Remember you need a Passport to enter Europe.
Day 2: On arrival in Naples we will transfer to Sorrento by coach where we will spend the next three nights. Sorrento is surrounded with the lemon trees and the smell of lemons is always in the air.. On our way to Sorrento we will make stops for sightseeing in Naples. The hotel will be situated overlooking the bay. Other highlights of the day will be a visit to an olive oil factory Dinner included.
Day 3: We drive the spectacular Almalfe Drive, which some people consider to be the most magnificent road in Italy. This road stretches across the coast with hairpin turns and scenic vistas around every turn. We will also visit the City of Pompeii and walk through the city that was once covered in ash. We will also stop for a tasting of lemonchello which the region is known for. Breakfast and dinner included.
Day 4: Today we travel by boat to the Isle of Capri, weather permitting we will visit the famous Blue Grotto. ( optional charge) The Blue Grotto has been known since the Roman times, (the statues of pagan gods found on the bottom of the cave date back to the ancient Roman times), If the seas are calm the grotto shouldd nor be missed. The island itself has some of the prettiest views that you will see anywhere in Italy, a botanical garden, chairlift to the top of the mountain, and lots of uniques stores to find a souvenier. Breakfast and Dinner included.
Day 5: We travel to Rome where we will stay in the eternal city. On arrival in Rome our day begins with a walking tour of the Vatican and Sistine Chapel Breakfast and Dinner included.
Day 6: This morning we will tour using the coach and a walking tour, stopping at such sites as the Coliseum and the ancient monuments. We will visit the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps on the tour. It is said that if you toss a coin over your shoulder and into the fountain you will return to Rome in the future. we will have dinner followed by an evening tour of Rome lit up in its splendor. Day 7: This morning you have the morning free to enjoy Rome on your own. We will offer an optional tour to explore ancient Rome. Where we will visit the Coliseum (we will not go in), the Forum and other parts of ancient Rome. For those not interested in ancient Rome, it is a perfect time for shopping or visiting what really interests you. In the afternoon or local guide will join us for a farewell tour of Rome highlighting some of the most famous churches and parts of underground Rome and the catacombs. One of the stops we will make is the Time Elevator, which brings the history of Rome together in a multi media presentation. Breakfast and Dinner included.
Day 8: This morning you will be transferred to Florencewhere we will spend the next three nights. On the way to the hotel we will stop for wine tasting and sampling over the local meats and cheeses in the Tuscany region. We will also explore the Tuscan Counterside Breakfast and Dinner included.
Day 9: Our day begins with a visit to the Academia Galler where we will view Michael Angelo’s David. You could spend days wandering from gallery to gallery in this city so rich in art. Our private guide will help you understand the art you are viewing and some of the meanings you might miss on your own, In the afternoon we will take a walking tour of the Old City of Florence with time to shop in the markets.. Breakfast and Dinner included
Day 10: We have left this day as a day open as Florence has so much to experience from the botanical gardens to the palaces to the many museums and galleries. If you are a shopper then Florence is a shoppers paradise.. Many people choose to use the Hop on Hoff passes as a convenient way of transportation. We will gather in the evening and share the experience of the day. Breakfast and Dinner included.
Day 11: We travel by train to Venice Italy. On arrival you will be transferred to your centrally located hotel.. In the afternoon you will have a walking tour around St. Mark’s Square followed by a welcome dinner. Dinner included.
Day 12:Today a local guide who will show you the highlights of Venice will join you. On your tour you will visit the islands of Murano and Burano known for lace making and Venetian glass as well as the major attractions of this city. One of the highlights will be a gondola ride while being seranaded through the canals followed by dinner, Breakfast and Dinner included.
Day 13: We return home today filled with memories of your trip to Italy. Breakfast included
